Welcome
Report from the Camp Director, Dr. Mark Yeager

WOW!! What an amazing summer!! Kamp Kaleidoscope and Camp Walapei were a huge success this summer at the Center Ridge Outpost. We hosted 190 campers and 140 volunteers this summer. Our campers enjoyed the usual summer camp events with some new activities to boot. Some of the new opportunities included, campfire cooking, turkey calling and flintknapping just to name a few.
We want to thank all of our volunteers that helped this summer. We could not have done it without you. In addition to our volunteers our staff did a superb job in making sure that the camp ran smoothly. We had great fun and learned a lot that will benefit future camps and events. Our fall and winter calendar is set. For a copy just email us and request one at takeaction@TEAAM.org
We will immediately begin planning our next phase of construction for The Center Ridge Outpost. Our goal for next summer include our TEAAM Center, which will include our Mess Hall and offices, a pool, a pole barn, a new handicraft shelter, camper slips, staff quarters and a director’s lodge. We have big plans so if you would like to joint in to help in any way, give us a call or email.
Sincerely,
Dr. Mark H. Yeager, Ph.D., FAAIDD
Executive Director, TEAAM & The Center Ridge Outpost

THANK YOU to all Kampers, Parents, Crew Members, Volunteers, Sponsors, and
The Mississippi Department of Mental Health for making
Kamp Kaleidoscope possible.
HERE ARE A FEW THINGS THAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS.....
“Kamp Kaleidoscope means that our child can experience summer camp as it should be.
The swimming, fishing, horseback riding, rock wall, food, and fireworks are all provided within
a safe, loving, and dedicated environment.
Thank you so much!”
Dr. Jack S. Breyer, Donna Jo and Debra.
There are many ways that YOU can help ensure that TEAAM continues
to provide Campers with an all-inclusive Summer Camp.
If you are interested in volunteering as a Crewmember (counselor) or sponsoring a camper,
Please contact TEAAM (Together Enhancing Autism Awareness in Mississippi) at 601-782-9005.

One thing was camp. Camp Kaleidoscope was an answer to a prayer.
No other camp would make food especially for our child.
No other camp would ensure involvement and keep him safe from bullies.
He has so much fun here. We are so grateful to Kamp Kaleidoscope.”
James and Wendy Neal.
